October 15, 2016 at 1:43 pm #74713educatParticipantHi, after the reccent theme update, I noticed that, even though, the theme translation files are almost 100% complete, the translations are not taking effect. So, I went to the Loco Translate Plugin in order to check this out and here's what I've got: http://prntscr.com/cu4z9a Is says that the translation files are not connected to a .pot file. I've looked for a .pot file that could be WPLMS' but couldn't find it. I found some .po theme files that seemed to be out of place, so I moved them to the languages/theme folder, but it didn't correct the problem. The .POT file has got to be the source of the issue here. What can be done to solve this? What's the name of this .POT file, so I can do a better search? Thanks in advance!October 15, 2016 at 2:00 pm #74719H.K. LatiyanParticipantThe theme pot file is located in wp-content/themes/wplms/languages folder. If the translations are not taking effect it could mean that the translations are out of sync, in this case you need to re-sync the translations. The translations can go out of sync when new strings are added in the updates, so it is very common issue with the updates. Also note that the translation files name have been updated as per WordPress 4.6 update. So earlier the translation files used to have name xx_XX.po and now the translation files have name vibe-xx_XX.poOctober 17, 2016 at 3:50 am #74828NanoSpectatorHi.. i Have done all the steps but it keep gives .. Out of sync with template PO file has different source strings to "vibe.pot". Try running Sync before making any changes. So any solutions for it.. ThanksOctober 17, 2016 at 10:25 am #74887educatParticipantYeah, you know, maybe this is the issue: there is no .pot file in that folder '-' http://prntscr.com/cvbst8 Also, I'm seeing that "Install WPLMS - Setup With/Without Sample Data" page even though I set it up ages before. Really strange, 'cause it never appeared in previous updates - just sayin' http://prntscr.com/cvbtehOctober 18, 2016 at 7:59 am #75062NanoSpectatori Have done all the steps but it keep gives .. LatiyanParticipant@educat: There is no pot file then rename the vibe-en_US.po to vibe.pot, then sync the files. Let me know if this helps. @nano: Please create your own topic for your issues. And also try renaming the vibe_US.po file to vibe.pot file and then sync the files. Create a new topic if you face any issue.October 19, 2016 at 11:52 am #75351educatParticipantI did what you said, but I'm still getting that message and also this: http://prntscr.com/cw7lna I tried configuring the bundle in many ways, but I don't get this thing. http://prntscr.com/cw7m01 Maybe if you could provide a XML file to automatically configure it...October 19, 2016 at 12:23 pm #75360educatParticipantOk, now it seems I could get the settings right, but the translations still don't take effect http://prntscr.com/cw7yp3 http://prntscr.com/cw82cg http://prntscr.com/cw840v http://prntscr.com/cw857b (As you can see from the above, the transtlations are there, but don't work) The settings: http://prntscr.com/cw7zv8October 20, 2016 at 3:43 pm #75644educatParticipantI solved it simply by copying vibe-xx_XX.po and .mo to wp-content/languages/themes folder.
