Membership with groups in courses/BuddyPress

How this will work? Batches are different than these Groups?

I didn't understand these batches and Woo membership confusion. How can these help me to restrict groups for members?

hi ok let me clarify the requirement you want that if the user is not enrolled in the course or purchased the course then it should not be able to access the group right?

Sometimes the course will be free. But I want users to pay the membership fee to join the group.
