Moodle database migration

Hello, We creating a new site for an old site with a huge user database that uses Moodle, we were wondering if there is any recommendation / advice / tip on how to migrate that database?

As we have not studied the moodle architecture so we are not able to advice something to you . Wplms uses wordpress tables that is all i can say .
