February 18, 2016 at 5:17 am #29729SamirSpectatorHello Mr vibes, We are currently facing two new issues following our update to 2.0.6 modern theme; 1.We cannot install any new plugins(some error message like cannot create directory/WordPress permissions shows and install fails). 2.Visit the test courses on our home page, when you click on any you get a new type of blank.(header fuses with footer, refer to screenshot attached). Note:Php version is 5.4,permalinks has been saved and resaved,we have done a lot of customizations again and can't afford to have another reinstall of WP or WPLMS.Our business has been suffering for over 2 weeks due to this upgrade issues. Please help resolve this two issues so we can proceed with testing and relaunching our site. Thanks.February 18, 2016 at 5:22 am #29731SamirSpectatorSite:macaranta/wp-admin Password: frBz!feLC=7Q Also our server configuration limits was set as specified before, you can help take a look at our cpanel to see if we accidentally did something wrong. <span style="line-height: 1.5;">Cpanel:macaranta.com/cpanel</span> Login:frBz!feLC=7QFebruary 18, 2016 at 9:18 am #29839SamirSpectatorPlugin issues has been resolved by us. Course view is still buggy.February 18, 2016 at 9:19 am #29840SamirSpectatorNew site credentials Login :macaranta.com/work Pwd:frBz!feLC=7QFebruary 19, 2016 at 1:06 pm #30244Anshuman SahuKeymasterWe are not able to detect the issue at your end . this is more likely related to your customizations or server . To check if it is server or customization issue please setup a new wplms site on localhost or a different host and then check the course page .February 19, 2016 at 1:21 pm #30253SamirSpectatorHello Alex, By saying you are not able to detect the issue at my end, does it mean you are able to view courses properly from your end? We have not done any coding mod either for CSS or Functions, just normal setups and plugin installs. We will do a test on a local host and get back to you guys. Thanks for your help so far, this is the only issue we are currently faced with .February 22, 2016 at 9:36 am #30891SamirSpectatorHello Alex/Mr Vibes We have done the site test on local host with the same course view error. We have subscribed to a new hosting service provider, we have installed a fresh wp and wplms both normal and modern themes. When we try to set up with sample data we get the error shown in the screenshot below.kindly advice on how to proceed. It will he nicer if you guys can setup the wplms from your end perhaps test a few course view then handover the site to us.That way we can move forward with site building and testing ,this will help us save a lot of lost time in resolving this issue. Note that we followed every step and video in setting up the wplms so we can't say if we are doing something wrong.Just kindly help us out, thanks guys.February 22, 2016 at 9:42 am #30893SamirSpectatorSetup with sample data error screenshot.February 22, 2016 at 10:05 am #30906SamirSpectatorlooks like the screenshot size is higher than 512kb,the error occurs when we try to setup using sample data. I don't have the first problem, but I do have the second. (I currently have it running on localhost). When I update the theme & plugins, remove all customizations (it's all in a child theme), it seems to work, until I save the permalinks. Then the courses are redirected as stated above. They do redirect to the right URL, but it doesn't show anything. I've also checked it in the backend. When I click on all courses, it does give a count of the courses, however, it is blank and you can't see any courses below it.February 22, 2016 at 10:25 am #30917SamirSpectatorDantwah,I'm glad I'm not alone in this. This issue has given us a lot of challenges and setbacks...but I'm confident Mr vibes n Alex will find a fix soon.February 23, 2016 at 1:02 pm #31298dantwahSpectatorI've found the problem: Now the solution still needs to be found. The difference is whether there is a review and rating with the course or not. When I add "average_rating" in the extra field settings in the backend, the course suddenly becomes visible. When you remove it again, the course page will become blanco again (so just header & footer). Now, I got 415 courses in my backend, and don't want to add "average_rating" to everyone of them. Also, when I add a new course (which won't have an average rating), it gives a blank page as well (so just header & footer). Samir, can you check if that was missing at your page as well?February 23, 2016 at 2:02 pm #31322SamirSpectator
Hi Dantwah... Please where are you setting the course review stuff from?February 23, 2016 at 2:07 pm #31324dantwahSpectatorBackend -> LMS -> All Courses -> Course -> Extra fields (custom fields), under course settings -> add extra field -> enter "average_rating" + a value -> add, save and it works.February 23, 2016 at 2:10 pm #31325SamirSpectatorOkay..we will check it soon.Having some small issue with setting up a new wplms theme. -
