December 16, 2016 at 9:14 pm #85614emzolaSpectatorI installed and activated the One Course child theme. The home page works fine and displays like the demo. However, the course pages and posts appears distorted. They don't show the header image and the content seems to be too close to the edge of the inner white background. When I revert to the parent theme, the courses and posts pages work fine but the one course home page becomes distorted. What could be the problem? Its more like the child them is not reading the CSS of the parent theme. Please see screenshot: https://snag.gy/sAKrWo.jpg Note: I am using the latest version of the theme - Version: 2.4.1December 17, 2016 at 8:34 am #85680Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantGo to wp-admin->appearance->customiser->header->change header style and save.December 17, 2016 at 8:35 am #85681Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantSleek header style is recommended .December 17, 2016 at 10:24 am #85706emzolaSpectatorThanks, but did not work for the header. Also, I am having problems with the content on the courses. Its seems too close to the edge of the inner white background. Just as shown on the screenshot. However, when I activate the parent theme, everything works fine, but the One Course home page becomes distorted. All I want is the One Course child theme home page design. Is there a way for me to import only the One Course child theme home page to the parent theme, since every other thing works fine when the parent theme is active?December 19, 2016 at 7:55 am #85811Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]Participanthttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CHJZ_LrumXU Follow this tutorial and Add use this import code given in this github link https://gist.github.com/mrskywalker28/8c23146e626afdd291beac77529213cb#file-gistfile1-txtDecember 19, 2016 at 1:11 pm #85880emzolaSpectatorThis reply has been marked as private.December 20, 2016 at 10:54 am #86045Skywalker [ ex VibeThemes]ParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.December 20, 2016 at 11:37 am #86053emzolaSpectatorYes, the course pages are okay because it is the parent theme that is activated. Please check this link that has the homepage of the One Course theme imported: http://studyabroadgeek.com/frontpage/ From the link above, you will notice that this frontpage is distorted because it is the parent theme that is activated. Now, when I activate the One Course child theme, this front page displays normal while the course and post pages become distorted. Do you now understand the issue I have been facing? If not, please try activating the One Course child theme and check the course or post again to see what I am saying.December 21, 2016 at 10:52 am #86217H.K. LatiyanParticipantIts distorted because you have set the default template for this page. Please edit the page in backend and set the page template to "no-title".December 21, 2016 at 11:24 am #86223emzolaSpectatorI just tried that but still no luck. I also cleared cache but still doesn't change nothing.December 22, 2016 at 5:31 am #86358H.K. LatiyanParticipantWell that would be incorrect to say that nothing has changed, because I can see that earlier it had a title section on the top of the image, but now it doesn't, refer: http://prntscr.com/dmh1x9 Please clear the cache or check it on another computer you'll see the difference.
