Hi,
In the registration forms, the password always says "Weak", regardless of whether the password is short, weak or strong.
For example, when you put a strong password, it turns green, but still says "Weak". Look:
https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cre1b3VcfP6
This should work like this:
Red = "Too short"
Orange = "Weak"
Blue = "Good"
Green = "Strong"
Please help me to make this work as it should.
hi
are you using any kind of custom code in your customizer or in child theme?
I have searched and got this:
https://wordpress.stackexchange.com/questions/199813/change-password-strength-indicator-names
let me know if it helps
Hi,
Yes but these forms are handeled from buddypress.
We can not solve this issue.
You need to contact buddypress forum for this.
@Veronica thanks for that page that you looked for me, where there seems to be a code to solve this, but surely I need someone to help me with this.
Every step, there is something to fix ---sigh---
Now we have to deal with the BuddyPress support.
You say this is just a BuddyPress issue. So this is a problem faced by ALL WPLMS USERS??
I'm not completely sure this is just a BuddyPress issue. It seems that something is not right, beyond BuddyPress.
For example (another issue found), I have three registration forms on my site and in all three I have the option "Show Password Meter" enabled, but only one of them shows it. Look:

ok
can you please share details so we can take a look at the same
