    Hello,
    1. Can I add a single quiz in the course without any unit? Also, how can I embed that single quiz in any page?
    2. Is it possible to define 300 total marks for that quiz?

    yes, you can add one quiz without any unit in a course. but you cant use this quiz in another course. Note: quiz should be connected to the course else it will not take part in quiz evaluation. in wplms quiz, reusability is not possible.
