I am having issue with quiz not loading the result after a student finish the quiz. According to what the students are reporting it just spin for about a minute or and never load the results. As an admin/instructor if I go to check the result under the student profile I get an error message "There was a problem marking that notification."
Please I need this to be resolved soon.
Make sure that wplms theme and all its plugin are updates to latest versions :

If any then try deactivating the third party plugins .
I did all that of the above and still getting the error.
Here are the latest versions of WPLMS and it plugins. I noticed I have a WPLMS Customizer Plugin that wasn't on your list. Is the WPLMS EventOn is the same as WPLMS Events?

Please note that all 500 errors are server related errors please contact your host on this .
Also try deactivating the third party plugins.

Please set retakes in your quiz in quiz settings and then try taking it again .
Please make sure activity component is enabled from wp-admin -> settings -> buddypress -> components .
If above does not helps Please share your site url and admin credentials to check this issue at your end .

I checked your site with ftp .I found that the wp_comment_query class which is a core wordpress class is not working properly with comment_meta .
I guess this is related to your database .
Please contact your webhost and ask them if they have enforced any permissions on mysql server to restrict longer sql queries /
Some hosts have this to prevent attacks on mysql servers and prevent then from corrupting .
