October 21, 2015 at 1:39 pm #3987SuperDaveSpectatorI understand the reasons for this new suppoert ticket approach but its no good for quick resolution of issues as its public and cannot share private login information. Firstly I want to say we have a professional set-up. We have a second staging server with a clean install of the WPLMS pack of theme plugins and nothing else. No childtheme, No CCS changes. This enables us to give WPLMS access to a clean test enviroment without fear of damaging our content on the live site. So please please please don't comeback on this ticket with the kick in grass comment please uninstall all plugins and retest. We go to alot of trouble to test your software releases and are software professionals. Currently on our PRINCE2.cc test site we have a short test course. The bug runs as follows:- Go to the results Tab in the BB Dashboard and select a set of results. Please see results image attached since I cannot cut and past image into ticket due to error from your website (not good) See results.jpg Now select "Retake Quiz" and this is where the trouble starts :) See results start quiz image attached. A bit of anchient history appears. A depreciated and unloved quiz template from long back is called. oooops Then it get worse when you run the quiz you get another depreciated template and dropped configuration:- Please see run test.jpg below When you run the quiz from inside the course itself rather than through the BB results tab I get the correct template and config used /observed. Please see Good quiz.jpg This is a major bug we cannot go live with this present. We have an accredators review of our site and this review will be broadcast to a community of 1000 + ATO training organisations so please get this fixed before our review booked for two weeks from now. Get this fixedOctober 21, 2015 at 1:40 pm #3992SuperDaveSpectator<div class="bbp-reply-content clearfix"> Just discovered that messages can be made private Please if you want to use our clean test server go to PRINCE2.cc Login as test user kbtest0020 Password Stick505 This you can use to test for this bug If you want admin access to back end please use http://prince2.cc/dev69/wp-admin/index.php User wplms007 password Ypmxf4xfR111FfIz*NX!tRGv Please fix </div>October 23, 2015 at 7:01 am #4279Anshuman SahuKeymasterThis was an issue and we have fixed this issue in vibe course module version 1.9.9 .October 27, 2015 at 1:46 pm #5358SuperDaveSpectatorOk this is a tad tiresome and again your testing is not good and us users carry out free beta testing and banging our heads against a wall. I ask in return for being nice to you guys you listen to us and take a little time to help us helping you build a better product for the greater good of all. Firstly this bug is defo not fixed - THIS BUG IS NOT FIXED. Look at image "retake button". When you select the test /quiz retake button in the results tab in the BB dashboard you get the following depreciated templates - Please see images test bug and test bug 2. This is a very poor oversite. Please FIX. Secondly you comment on not being able to access the homepage is not true. We have our test team and other plugin developers access the staging /beta test site all the time. Its just a little slapdash. If you go to prince2.cc and then look at the "login screen front of site" image arttached to this ticket you you see that on the righthand side of the the homepage is a padlock. Select this and enter the test username and passwords to get in. I have given you in a private ticket a test user name and admin access to the test site. I also want to point out that this forum system is great but the image button above does not upload images but refers to links which is a much more time consuming approach to adding pictures to a ticket. Please as in the old system allow us to cut and past in a ticket images. They are worth a thousand words and just attaching them to a ticket is not the best in helping you get the point we are trying to make.October 28, 2015 at 6:55 am #5463Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease note that when the user retakes the quiz form the results tab ,it will show the single quiz page That have next and previous questions page . If user retakes the quiz in course then in course quiz will open . If you want that quiz always open in the single quiz page then please disable the "In Course Quiz" from wp-admin->LMS->settings . Also note here that the retake button cannot be redirected to the in course (course status page) as of now .IT will only redirect user to the single quiz page . If user want to try a single quiz then she had to goto her my courses tab and then continue the course and she can retake the quiz after checking results in popup .December 24, 2015 at 2:51 pm #15494SuperDaveSpectatorI want to be prelight Really I do ! I think you guys are really not listening. I am going at great length again to explain to help you have a better and fit for purpose product. When you go to the student dashboard and click courses you can see above a tab headed "Results" When you click this you see your course quiz results. You then select one of the results and great you see a summary of your quiz performance. Then at the bottom you have a retake button. When you click this button you go to a depreciated quiz template php page. Please see image attached. Also you get a error message:- <span style="color: #313b3d; font-family: 'Open Sans', 'Helvetica Neue', sans-serif; font-size: 14px; font-style: normal; font-variant: normal; font-weight: normal; letter-spacing: normal; line-height: 20px; orphans: auto; text-align: start; text-indent: 0px; text-transform: none; white-space: normal; widows: 1; word-spacing: 0px; -webkit-text-stroke-width: 0px; display: inline !important; float: none; background-color: #f9f9f9;">Warning: Division by zero in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/vibe-course-module/includes/bp-course-functions.php on line 780</span> I have tested this on our bear bones test site which is free of customisation and other activated plugins and this bug is repeatable so it is a bug and that has not been fixed. If you are unprepared to fix please can you show me how to disable on the results page (student dashboard) the retake button. I have tried CSS to disable this but it removes the retake button not only from the student dashboard result tab but form the incourse quiz results summary aswell which means the user has no way to retake a course. Please as a minimum help me disable it on the the result page only. This is the last time I post this as I just cannot explain this any clearly. Please dont make me write to envato and start a campaign to get listened to and the bug fixed. If you agree to fix this please let me know when as this is way way overdue and as explained I cannot go live with this. This is holding me up after spending huge sums of money on development of our new site.December 26, 2015 at 12:31 pm #15621Anshuman SahuKeymasterIn wplms we have built the single quizzes first .In course quizzes were added later then on user demand so that student do not have to leavae the course status page to take the quiz . NOw the retake option on the results page in the courses-> results section will redirect user to the quiz not to the course as of now in wplms . There is no such provision available to redirect the user to course status page with that quiz loaded . If you want to hide the redirect from single course page then pelase add the given css from wp-admin -> appearance -> customize -> custom css : .bp-user.my-account form.quiz_retake_form.start_quiz {display:none;}December 29, 2015 at 2:27 pm #16060SuperDaveSpectatorOk I get to some extent. Your saying the behavior is correct and is not a bug and therefore not going to be corrected. Poor in my view but its your product and what can I say. But you have still not answered the fact that when this odd looking quiz template is called we get php error please see the previous report. This is a bug that you need to fix. Please READ ! Finally the Custom CSS you have given does not remove the retake button. Just in case of confusion please let me state again. In the Student Dashboard /courses /result tab you can select in course quiz results and I want to remove the button at the bottom of the results pages selected. Please can I have the CSS to remove the "RETAKE" button at the bottom of each selected set of quiz results without removing the retake button from the test result page product in course. I have tried and tried to remove it using custom CSS and in each case it removes the button across the site including in-course quiz results.December 30, 2015 at 10:37 am #16167Anshuman SahuKeymasterIs your quiz is connected to any course ?If not then check if it was connected to any course before and you have removed it later from the course after the user have taken the quiz . Please provide and answer for the above question and can you please share the url of the course in which the quiz is, url of the quiz and admin credentials to check the issue at your end ?December 30, 2015 at 10:41 am #16169Anshuman SahuKeymasterCan you share a screenshot from where do you want to hide that retake button ?January 5, 2016 at 10:52 am #16726SuperDaveSpectatorwe have found the CSS to hide button. We still think this button goes to opage that is totally depreciated and out of date and needs fixing. Also if you look at the previous screen shots you will notice a php error when this button is used. Very poor that I have to remove instead of you guys fixing and making it work.
