Show Dates instead of remaining time in sidebar on course pages

I want the sidebar module on the course pages to show the course start date instead of "remaining time until". How? Also I would like to be able to show more than one course dates, would that be possible. I did try the code you provided for the "wplms-customizer.php". But its not working. Please help! Thanks in advance.
