October 7, 2018 at 12:15 pm #179074MissMadParticipantHi, I've recently updated WPLMS and changed the theme from Child 1 to Modern Theme. Since then, the students can't access the course anymore. They belong to a session, the session is opened until October 11 and the course appears as "Finished". When they click on "Renew", page doesn't load. Any idea anyone?October 8, 2018 at 9:59 am #179131shynkarykParticipantYou can continue course subscribtion for students in course admin, maybeOctober 8, 2018 at 1:13 pm #179163DianaParticipant@MissMad, Yes, @shynkaryk is right. This is one option through which you can extend the subscription of the user. If the renew course is not working then Let me know. I will check this issue on your site.October 8, 2018 at 3:51 pm #179214MissMadParticipantI see how to renew the course but not how to extend the subscription...October 8, 2018 at 5:22 pm #179220shynkarykParticipantHere is example: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o12HWRA6mgMOctober 8, 2018 at 7:06 pm #179226MissMadParticipantOk. So I tried extending the course (for an extra two weeks) and it sill doesn’t work. I have extended the course itself, the session, the course for the students in the batch and nothing works. Some see the course as finished, others saw the progression jumping to 39% even though they just only started, others who had almost finished have the course appearing as finished even though they never made it to the end. I’m a bit confused so as what to do next...October 8, 2018 at 9:17 pm #179243MissMadParticipantThings got even worse: now there's just a blank page when a student clicks on "Pursue course". And it's the same for me when I click on "Edit course": blank page with 404 error. All of this started happening since I updated WPLMS two weeks ago and the WPLMS Modern theme this week (as I got a message telling me do to so). Now, nothing works at all, marks have disappeared and my students are very unhappy. Please help!October 9, 2018 at 1:14 pm #179338DianaParticipant@MissMad, This is the place in course-admin area from where you can extend the subscription for the course of that particular user. I don't know what you did on your site due to which you are facing this kind of issues. Refer: http://prntscr.com/l408ke Edit course is landing to a 404 page: I think I told you that we get 404 error when permalinks are not saved. I re-saved those permalinks and they are working fine. I am sure there is a third-party plugin on your site which is responsible for this. That Plugin is flushing your permalinks and you have to have it again and again. refer: http://prntscr.com/l409vr Can you please explain me how did you perform the functionality of extending subscription.October 9, 2018 at 1:37 pm #179345MissMadParticipantI extended subscription from the front end by selecting the students and having a bulk action. I haven't added or deleted any plugin since several months. Only updated the system. FYI: I had to upload the update as it wasn't possible to do so from the site updates page. So I downloaded the whole theme folder on Theme Forest and uploaded it via ftp.October 10, 2018 at 12:33 pm #179498DianaParticipant@missmad The steps are fine which you have performed. But my answer to this issue is the same -----> Edit course is landing to a 404 page There is a third-party plugin which is conflicting and flushing the permalinks structure and you are landing to 404 page
