September 26, 2016 at 10:49 pm #72088CharlielynParticipantI can access the forum (right side of footer link) when logged in as an admin. Otherwise, the forum cannot be accessed- we get a 404 message. WPLMS is 2.22. All plugins are updated. Also, the Evaluate assignments link does not work. Also, Visual Composer does not work. I have inactivated all the non-Vibe or WPLMS plugins except the ones you require or suggest- Buddypress, my cred, etc. Please help. PS- I have been struggling with various things like this for a couple of years. Dod you have PAID support. At this point, that's what I need. It was related to the permalinks . I re-saved the permalinks and was able to access forums pages , course submissions . Please let me know if I missed something .September 28, 2016 at 4:10 pm #72363CharlielynParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.September 29, 2016 at 2:22 pm #72495Anshuman SahuKeymasterI checked your sister site and re-saved the permalinks again frpm wp-admin -> settings -> permalinks . I also found on your sister site all courses had pending status . Please note that only published courses can be seen by the students . On your main site i found the visual composer plugin to be outdated ,this is why it is not working . Please update our visual composer by follwing this tip : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/how-to-update-visual-composer/September 29, 2016 at 3:27 pm #72515CharlielynParticipantThank you. (FYI- I do not post courses on the sister site). I have updated the Visual Composer for both sites. It changed the look of the front pages. There is now extra white space such as- above the top image on 1st site: sreenshot Below the content on both sites- screenshot HELP. Meanwhile, the forum will no longer open for the students again today. It worked after you fixed it yesterday. 15 Keys ForumSeptember 29, 2016 at 8:09 pm #72532CharlielynParticipantNo forums open.September 30, 2016 at 2:17 pm #72642Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease try adding the given css to put the off-white background color to your page : .pusher { background-color: #fbfbfb; } Forum issue : seems lie your forum is connected to the course . Please note that the forums which are connected to the course are not accessible by the students who are no subscribed to the course . to allow access to all the users in your site please remove the forum form course in course components settings .October 1, 2016 at 2:17 pm #72748CharlielynParticipantThe CSS code had no effect. The forum is shared by 2 courses. I discinnected it from both, but we all still get the 404 message. (on this issue, I have students waiting to start or continue the courses). Appreciate your further help!October 1, 2016 at 2:21 pm #72750CharlielynParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.October 3, 2016 at 2:14 pm #72882Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell i checked both the issues on your prophetic site . Css : There was some error in your css that you have added previously and that is why the css added after it was not working . I corrected it please check and confirm . Forums issue : I checked the forum and found it to be private and therefore non logged in user wont be able to access it . So I registered myself as a student and after login I was able to see the forum . So please check if your forum is hidden or private ?October 3, 2016 at 6:24 pm #72912CharlielynParticipantThe forum on the Prophetic site is not a problem, but the site still a has a large amount of white space below each page. The Institute site still has the problems. 1. the links on the course units do not access the Topics (for students). Course 402 and 402M. 2. the link on the footer right does not open to anyone. 3. white space above slider on homepage. Large white space below content on all pages. Additional help appreciated.October 4, 2016 at 2:34 pm #73076Anshuman SahuKeymasterThere is some plugin that is adding padding in bottom of your content . check : http://prntscr.com/cpq6vx Please try adding this css in your wp-admin -> appearance -> customizer -> custom css : section#content { padding-bottom: 20px !important; } Okay I checked your site and found that you have created a page named as forums with slug forums which is conflicting with the bbpress forums root link . Please change the slug of your page to something else so that it does not match with any other page slug or any directory slug (like members, forums etc .) refer : http://prntscr.com/cpqe4qOctober 4, 2016 at 5:25 pm #73097CharlielynParticipantThat fixed the forum! Thank you! The white at the bottom appears to be resoved. Super! Thank you! What about this top white above the slider and the fact that the columns are no longer aligned. This may have come with a theme update. http://prntscr.com/cpshce Also, I posted another problem which is tripping up students. Not sure if it's related, but I suppose that's possible and it is a new problem. https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/quiz-answers-already-filled-in/#post-73073
