Students have reported that they cannot complete quizzes and that they randomly get kicked out of a quiz before the countdown ends. Activity logs still registers the allotted time that is set or the quiz.
What could be the reason?

please make sure your theme is of version 3.9.7
and plugins should be of version 3.9.7.2.
also, share some screenshot or video of the step's so that I can reproduce the error. once it is replicated I will start troubleshooting.
i will need admin credentials and course URL. is it happening with all courses or with some?

we don't have a screenshot or video of the steps to reproduce the error as we only get emails from our participants that said that they have minutes left on the timer but the quiz ends abruptly.
as of now we have launched one course so that's the only one.
This is happening for all users or for a particular user??
please share the credentials of admin and user who has lodged a complaint.

Hello,
let me explain how does this works. we count time accurately from our server. and show the countdown at the client-side. there is only one condition that could cause this issue. the student opened the same quiz in multi-tabs but once the timer is started. he started quiz on a tab.
if any of the timers complete in a tab then it will show the timeout in the quizzes.
note: time starts only on page load.
