Also please share WP Admin credentials, WPML support is clearly skipping their responsibility.
We're using the function : site_url( BP_REGISTER_SLUG ); for generating registration link.
Note that site_url is a WordPress function and BP_Register_slug is a BuddyPress constant. So, nothing here is added or modified by the theme.
But still since you've been facing this issue for quite long, we'll try to do what WPML support should have done. Note that this is "by far" not included in any kind of theme support.

Ok, yes you're correct, I was not aware that you're using this customization, but still the default registration link is not working as expected (which is where WPML is at fault)

We were checking at different locations and which is why it got really confusing.
a. We were checking at the signup button in top header.
b. You where checking when user clicks on Take this course.
Hence it got really confusing because to us the issue was resolved but we were not aware of the customization implemented by you.
