Hi, I would like to be sure of what happens to my translation files when updating plugins/theme. I've read here and there that you recommend using Codestyling Localization and Preserver, however it is no longer supported and some users are thus complaining about errors. I currently use Poedit to make changes to Po files, but I would not appreciate a part of my work being corrupted during an update. Do you guarantee an error-free merge? Thanks

Please make sure your translation is kept in the wp-content -> languages folder. The theme translation files should be present in the wp-content -> language -> themes and plugins translation file should be present in the wp-content -> language -> plugins. If not present then please move the translation files there and after that you need to rescan or sync the files using your translation plugin. NOTE: You can copy wp-content -> language folder as a backup also.
