I am trying to make my header transparent like in the sample template. I am having trouble getting rid of the grey banner. I placed the header on default like I was told, but it is still not working. I have put it on transparent as well and it is still there. I attached example.

Ok please clarify which grey banner are we talking about:
do you want the header background to be removed ?
Small tip : try using prntscr.com and their app to capture screenshot and mark the areas in question.
I added section#content {
padding-top: 0 !important;
to the CSS and that is solved. Now I am trying to make the image full page width. How do I do that?
When I scroll down The top part of the page turns white. I attached the example so you can see what happened when I scroll down. Also. I want to make it full width of page.
1) The top part does not turns white, but you header background color changes to white.
Please go to theme customizer -> header and change the color setting for the fixed header.
2) The image is not full sized because its boxed layout. So change it to container.
