Unable to mark unit complete even after submitting assignment

Hi Vibe, Once a student submits an assignment, he or she must be able to mark the unit complete. However, this isn't happening. I am still getting: FINISH ASSIGNMENT TO MARK UNIT COMPLETE What is the issue? And why don't the assignments open in the same tab? These multiple tabs can be confusing for students.

The assignments opening in the same tab is a pending request which we're planning to add soon in assignments. The assignment needs to be evaluated by the instructor to allow student to move forward in the course. You can disable the Unit assignment lock in WP Admin - WPLMS - Course manager section if you want the student to move ahead without assignment submission.

If I change the settings to allow student to proceed to next unit without evaluation, and if the student finishes the course, will the marks be displayed without assignment being evaluated? Or will it display a message saying that the assignment is yet to be evaluated?

No the marks will not be shown for the assignment to the user .Also note that the unit can only be marked complete in course when the assignment is evaluated by the instructor .
