Updated Certificate not saved issuse

Hi I am getting certificate issue. I have change and update the certificate and use ?regenerate_certificate command and it's working fine and showing perfect certificate. Problem is that updated certificate not save. When we login again and check certificate it's showing old certificate. Please guide me if i am missing any step. Regards, Bhavinder
