User already logged in

1- some of our users reported that when trying to log in they get the message "user already logged in". For the time being we deactivated your session setting and complaints seem to have stopped but that's not a permanent solution as we need that functionality.

2. The second issues is a warning appearing time to time during log in process. it says "activate cookies ... "

Yes it is also about the cookies and the wordpress session .Please ask the students to properly log out from every device if they want to log in form another device . The student may have not logged out from the site or maybe someone is logged in with her credentials already .
