April 5, 2016 at 3:37 am #40987russellcSpectatorWe have updated our test site from pre 2.0 plugins to the latest WPLMS 2.08 plugins and get the following error in course 1st page...also the CSS styling is also looking not as it usually does and a bit messy looking. I have provided a screenshot attached to the request. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Warning: Missing argument 3 for BP_Course_Offline::load_unit_content() in /home/keqtest/public_html/wp-content/plugins/vibe-course-module/includes/bp-course-offline.php on line 42
April 5, 2016 at 7:26 am #41027Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease make sure that your wplms theme and all its plugins are updated to the latest .Seems like your curriculum template is old . If you are using child theme to customize the curriculum template then please replcae it wiht the new curriculum template by copying the new curriculum.php file in your child theme folder at same location . Re-save permalinks and clear browser cache after update .April 5, 2016 at 10:56 am #41088russellcSpectatorThanks Alex. This kind of makes sense, but I don't entirely understand your explanation. We are using a child template to customize, but if I copy it from the same place to the same location am I not duplicating the same thing, I don't quite understand? Can you give me the directory path I am copying curriculum.php from and then the directory path I am pasting to; therefore replacing the the incorrect curriculum php file. Thanks for your help and apologies if I didn't quite understand.April 6, 2016 at 6:11 am #41316Anshuman SahuKeymasterWell there are two templates where the curriculum is generated . One is n the theme and other is in the vibe course module (a fallback template ) . So for the child theme you need to copy the curriculum.php file from wp-content/themes/wplms/course/single/curriculum.php into your child themewp-content/your child theme folder/course/single/ folder. for the other you just need to update the vibe course module plugin . Let me know if that resolves the issue . If not then please share a valid ftp credentials, admin credentials and site url to fix this at your end . PS : mark reply as private while sharing credentials .April 11, 2016 at 12:56 am #42214russellcSpectatorHi Alex, Our IT developer is away today and we have an urgent issue and I'm hoping you can please help progress this thread. We have upgraded our test site, but have received the above warning message. Before we release the upgrades to our live site, I'd like to have the fix in place. The reason for the urgency to upgrade our live site is that our students are experiencing significant issues with Large Text quiz submissions. Students are completing 3 hour practice exams, but their responses are not being saved. When they click submit, we look in the Quiz Submissions queue, and the marked answers for the submission are blank. We had a similar issue last September/October. Please see this thread: https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/large-text-question-quizzes-not-submitting-answers/ In the end, Mr Vibe looked at our live site and upgraded the Vibe plug-ins, which seemed to resolve the issue. In the meantime, we are recommending students use the latest version of Chrome and to save their responses into a Word document. Thank you for your assistance with this. Please check : http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cDfXlF1AOqApril 11, 2016 at 11:07 pm #42452russellcSpectatorHi Alex, I'm sorry, but it's not something you can replicate every time. We have > 1000 students on the site, and about 20% of submissions are coming through blank. As per the other forum thread that I linked to, I have tried to replicate the issue using different devices, browsers, internet connections, and I have only been able to generate the error about 2 times out of 50 attempts. We recommend our students use the latest version of Chrome and have wired internet connection, but the number of issues we're experiencing is too great to just be 'user error'. If you're able to assist with the resolution of the 'Warning' message we are receiving (Missing argument 3 for BP_Course_Offline), then we can at least upgrade our live site to the latest Vibe versions and see if that helps resolve the issue with the Large Text submissions. Thanks for your continued assistance here. Regards, RussellApril 12, 2016 at 12:37 pm #42571Anshuman SahuKeymasterI mentioned that i tested the quiz at your test site which is updated . Please note that there was a fix that we have added in vibe course module plugin later on . There was an issue with autosubmit in quiz .The answers when the quiz is auto submits does not saved for the user in large text . We fixed this later on . This is the reason why he quiz worked fine on the test setup . So please check the quiz on test setup . Also make sure that students must have the latest browser version which supports local storage to take the quiz .
