Today we’ll learn about a very useful functionality added in wplms batches plugin i.e. different curriculums for different batches in a course.
This will help instructors to create different curriculum for the same course for different group of students.
Below are the steps you need to follow to create different curriculum for different batches:
=> First of all you need to enable the setting to show batch specific curriculum in the course from the lms->settings:
=> Now you first need to create a course and save the curriculum for that course and publish it. Note that it will only work when your course is already published and you have set a curriculum for that course.
=> Now you’ll need to connect batches with the course and save it, refer:
=> Now you’ll see the option to load curriculum below the main curriculum, refer:
=> Now add or remove the units/quizzes from the above curriculum and save the curriculum. Note that you need to click on the save curriculum button next to the load curriculum for saving the batch curriculum, please do not click on the main save curriculum button in this process.
Similarly you can load different batches and save curriculum for the different batches.
=> Done.
Now the non logged in users will see the default course curriculum and the students who are logged in but not enrolled in the course will also see the default course curriculum.
But as soon as the student gets enrolled in a batch connected with the course, she will see the curriculum connected with that particular batch only.
=> Make sure you first save the default curriculum as Batch curriculum and then edit it. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XiA0gE-plrQ0aPjYIAo56PEROz-i6wwX/view?usp=drivesdk
