March 14, 2016 at 2:51 pm #36306javartParticipantI just updated my theme to the current version but the language file was also updated so I can't use my old Poedit translation file. What's the best way to use my old translation so I just have to translate the new terms added in the translation file?March 15, 2016 at 8:34 am #36439Anshuman SahuKeymasterPlease put your translated po files in the wp-content/languages folder . Please create a themes folder in wp-content/languages folder and put the po mo files of theme there . and Please create a plugins folder in wp-content/languages folder and put the po mo files of all plugins there . And then refer this tip : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/translate-using-codestyling-localization-plugin/ Just rescan the language files by clikcing on the rescan button .April 3, 2016 at 1:17 pm #40625javartParticipantWhen I try to edit the language in Codestyling localization, it gives me this error: "You are trying to open a translation catalog which expands above your PHP Memory Limit at NaN MB during read. Please enable the low memory mode for opening this components catalog." Based on some research, it seems like this may be an error in the theme: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-codestyling-localization-php-memory-limit-issue-generating-mo-file Any ideas how to fix this?April 4, 2016 at 10:43 am #40803Anshuman SahuKeymasterYou need to increase your php memory limit . PLease refer : https://docs.woothemes.com/document/increasing-the-wordpress-memory-limit/ We recommends php memory limit to be 128MB .April 9, 2016 at 12:42 am #42038javartParticipantI added that into the wp-config file but I'm still getting the same memory error message. I added it to the end of the wp-config file so it reads: /** * For developers: WordPress debugging mode. * * Change this to true to enable the display of notices during development. * It is strongly recommended that plugin and theme developers use WP_DEBUG * in their development environments. * * For information on other constants that can be used for debugging, * visit the Codex. * * @link https://codex.wordpress.org/Debugging_in_WordPress */ define('WP_DEBUG', false); //define( 'WP_CACHE', true ); require_once( dirname( __FILE__ ) . '/gd-config.php' ); define( 'FS_METHOD', 'direct'); define('FS_CHMOD_DIR', (0705 & ~ umask())); define('FS_CHMOD_FILE', (0604 & ~ umask())); /* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */ /** Absolute path to the WordPress directory. */ if ( !defined('ABSPATH') ) define('ABSPATH', dirname(__FILE__) . '/'); /** Sets up WordPress vars and included files. */ require_once(ABSPATH . 'wp-settings.php'); define('WP_MEMORY_LIMIT', '128M');April 9, 2016 at 1:05 pm #42136Anshuman SahuKeymasterYOu can also use this tip for the translation : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/translate-using-loco-translate-plugin/May 21, 2016 at 10:46 pm #49582javartParticipantI'm trying to translate the text that's on the "course-edit" page (see screenshot). I'm using Loco translate but I don't see those phrases there in the theme. Should I be translating a plugin or something else for the course-edit page?May 23, 2016 at 4:55 am #49670H.K. LatiyanParticipantYou can find these strings in front end plugin. So translate the front end plugin.
