I have translated "discussions" and "ask question" in modern theme using Loco Translate, but the translation doesn't change. Why do you think?
These both the strings comes from the default wplms theme, so you need to translate the default wplms theme to translate it.
I changed the strings in the default wplms theme but the problem remains...
I checked these texts in theme and found no difficulty in translating them .

Please note that first rescan the files and then after putting your translated text you must click on generate mo file button .
Also please check if there is any vibe-en_US.po/mo file in your wp-content/languages/themes folder .
Note here that the en_US is the language domain .
I am using Loco Translate, not Localization.
I see now that other texts that I have changed earlier in wplms theme now doesn't respond when I try to change them. I have tried to change my translation of "previous unit", "next unit" and "mark this unit complete".
I am using Loco too.

Have you checked id there is any
vibe-en_US.po or vibe-en_US.mo file is present in your wp-content/languages/themes/ folder .
