All video to S3 and better trailer video option

Hi, I am trying to disable all upload options but s3.  I have followed the instructions on the below post but all the upload options are still appearing from an instructor login. https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/only-enable-s3-in-video-upload/ (I have added the code to wplms-customer.php via plugin editor) Also is there a way to make the initial video of course where instructor would put their trailer also go straight to S3 or have it play a you tube link instead? Currently seems like only option is to upload to wordpress.

Well course video cannot be set from s3 .It is needed to provide a link there which the popup player plays . That code will work only in front end course creation . to make it work in backend you will need a different code .

Hi Alex, I have logged in as an instructor and it still says "add new" ? As for the pop player is there any way to edit the popup player and use another player for the main video?  On your demo site it takes forever to load...the first few times I clicked it I already clicked out as I thought video wasnt working.  Also want to avoid instructors uploading large files on us. thanks Anthony

Well you can make  sue of these plugin in order to restrict uploading large files : https://wordpress.org/plugins/upload-max-file-size/   im sorry its a third party library we are using and we cannot edit it.

Hi Alex, The theme is actually really great btw! No worries with the course video.   Video seems to be working faster on my site than your demo.

1. In regards to the "add new" it is appearing on the front end course creation when you select a category.  Is it possible to remove?

1B. Whats more of a concern is the order of the categories in the select category of course creation.  it is in alphabetical order by subcategory which means you might have bass guitar, cooking, dancing, graphic design, electric piano.  I want to group categories together not have everything just all over the place etc...   <p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px 0px 22px; color: #4b4d4d; font-family: Lato; font-size: 14px;">2. can you please share a video of the issue in which file is disappearing when you are selecting it? Also share your site url and amdin credentials to check the issue .

Yes that code does not seems to work right now . Seems like something is updated by wordpress now . Im checking our wordpress forums how to disable that  . provide some time , ping back for reminder .

Hi I have tried this .it seems like wordpress has changed something which is why the option to hide the tabs are in media upload are not working right working . Im researching on to wordpress forums how to remove the tabs properly from media upload popup .   for the issue tab label is not visible .   please try adding this custom css in your wp-admin -> appearance -> customize -> custom css :   .media-modal-content button{color:#0073aa}   .media-modal-content h2.media-attachments-filter-heading {display:none;}
