can not translate friends/groups/members in member page

Please check your folder and file permissions in your site .Folder permissions must be 755  and file permissions must be 644 for this .(contact webhost ) . And i would recommend you to use the code styling plugin to translate : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/translate-using-codestyling-localization-plugin/

I do it on my local server, it does  the same... and I even set it to 777

Have you tried the code styling plugin ? Please also share your server php error log to check this (upload it somehwere online and share its link here .)/

Thanks for sharing the errors with us . can you please also confirm if this error is showing while translating any wplms or vibe plugin files ?

So it seems like it is an issue with the loco translate and the buddypress plugin itself . Now to translate the buddypress strings I would recommend you to use either code styling plugin .(note that it will no affect any other plugin translation if you just edit and save the transaltion files of buddypress plugin only ) Or Use the po editor . for po editor follow this link :  http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/find-translate-translation-ready-wordpress-theme/

1. can not find code styling plugin in wp store and the link is invalid in vibetheme forums
2. I have tried po editor before, does not work too.
