Because of the 'Read More' button at the bottom of the content, some content gets cutoff. It's different on each course page though. There doesn't seem to be a good way to control the cutoff point. So, I would like to completely eliminate the 'Read More' function all together so ALL course content is shown without the need to click on the 'Read More' button. Is this possible?March 18, 2016 at 6:34 am #37244H.K. LatiyanParticipantYes you can edit the content and remove read more.March 18, 2016 at 1:11 pm #37382lkadishParticipantThe fact that I'm asking if it's possible would indicate that I don't know how to accomplish that. Can you give me a hint as to how to do that? Where do I look? Is there css to do that, or another file to edit? Thank you.March 19, 2016 at 6:55 am #37494H.K. LatiyanParticipantYou can edit the course then search for the read more and delete it, refer: http://prntscr.com/ah4sopMarch 20, 2016 at 4:08 pm #37706lkadishParticipantThank you, but I don't see that on my screen. Attached is a screen capture of the course as visible by user and the course visible in the backend. I do not have the 'Read More' line on my edit screen. Please advise. Thank you.March 21, 2016 at 7:53 am #37777H.K. LatiyanParticipantCan you please share the course url and the admin credentials with us to check the issue on your site. It is weird because the same thing is not replicable at our test site, this is the first time that we faced this issue after update. So I'll need the ftp credentials to debug the issue on your setup. Please update the theme manually this time using this tip and check the issue again : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/manually-updating-wplms/March 23, 2016 at 3:34 pm #38426lkadishParticipantUpdated. Fixed issue. Thank you. Of course it then created another issue of double excerpts showing up, but then you already knew that. I was able to solve it in my case by adding the following to the the excerpt filed on a course. <span> </span> You can close this case. Thanks.March 25, 2016 at 10:52 am #38637H.K. LatiyanParticipantThe excerpt field is appearing twice, this is a known issue and already made a quick fix for this. QUICK FIX: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/short-description-appearing-two-times-on-course-home-page-fix/ This will solve the excerpt issue. Since the topic is resolved, so closing the topic.
