I have about 6 offline courses setup and 1 online, and all have differing amounts of content on the course page itself. Because of the 'Read More' button at the bottom of the content, some content gets cutoff. It's different on each course page though. There doesn't seem to be a good way to control the cutoff point. So, I would like to completely eliminate the 'Read More' function all together so ALL course content is shown without the need to click on the 'Read More' button. Is this possible?

Yes you can edit the content and remove read more.

The fact that I'm asking if it's possible would indicate that I don't know how to accomplish that. Can you give me a hint as to how to do that? Where do I look? Is there css to do that, or another file to edit? Thank you.

You can edit the course then search for the read more and delete it, refer: http://prntscr.com/ah4sop

Thank you, but I don't see that on my screen. Attached is a screen capture of the course as visible by user and the course visible in the backend. I do not have the 'Read More' line on my edit screen. Please advise. Thank you.

I checked your site and unfortunately couldn't fix the issue. It is weird because the same thing is not replicable at our test site, this is the first time that we faced this issue after update. So I'll need the ftp credentials to debug the issue on your setup. PS:Please mark your reply as private while sharing the ftp credentials.

Okay i checked your site and compared the front.php file in your wp-content/themes/wplms/course/single/ folder . and found that this file in your  setup was not updated . refer : http://prntscr.com/aiw8t8 Seems liek that your wplms theme was not updated properly . Please update the theme manually this time using this tip and check the issue again : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/manually-updating-wplms/

Updated. Fixed issue. Thank you. Of course it then created another issue of double excerpts showing up, but then you already knew that. I was able to solve it in my case by adding the following to the the excerpt filed on a course. <span> </span>   You can close this case. Thanks.

The excerpt field is appearing twice, this is a known issue and already made a quick fix for this. QUICK FIX: https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/short-description-appearing-two-times-on-course-home-page-fix/ This will solve the excerpt issue. Since the topic is resolved, so closing the topic.
