Thanks for the videos and it really really helps us in understanding the issues you're facing. We created a test student hk_vibe to check the issues in your site with forums. Marked as Bug. ---- 1. You've enabled Course forum privacy in WP Admin - LMS - Settings, which means, forum/topic visibility is controlled when a Forum is connected to a course. Note that if a forum is connected to the course, all its child forums and topics inside these would only be visible to students subscribed to that course. 2. So, firstly, if as a student you're not subscribed to any course then you only see two forums to create a topic, refer http://prntscr.com/d80vsm 3. So, question : how did robert create a topic in the Levels two forum ? 4. When I tried to locate the courses of RRW , I tried to edit the course but found that in components no "forum" element was visible, did you deactivate it ? 5. Assuming that RRW was subscribed to this course : http://37.60.255.98/~sherylwi/course/level-2 , we as our test user also subscribed to the same course and now we were able to view the forum : http://prntscr.com/d811v9 6. Yes the issue was replicated.

I am relieved that you were able to replicate the problem. I'm at work and won't be able to look at the site for a few hours. I thought Robert was in the Level 2 class, but I'll have to check it out. Would you recommend that I tell the students to avoid the forums until we figure out what is going on? Thank you.

    3. Robert is enrolled in the Level 2 class. When he is in class he can get to the Level 2 Forum. He also has the option to Unsubscribe showing on his screen. Should I unlink the forums from the classes until we get a fix?

For now please disable the course forum privacy feature from wp-admin-> lms -> settings .

Okay. Will that allow them to post now?

Yes this should work after disabling the course forum privacy setting, because this is the only restriction that wplms make on forum after disabling this setting there will not be any interference in forums from wplms theme.

I disabled the course forum privacy setting wp-admin-> lms -> settings. I am able to post to the forum whether or not it's privacy is public or private. The students do not get any noreply messages, only I do as the administrator. I looks like it all works okay. The students are no longer getting the 404 error when they click on their email notification. I can ignore the noreply messages. Do you see that this would cause any issue? Thank you again for your help.

No it will not cause any issues. If you do not want the feature of course forum privacy, then you can leave it disabled for now. In the next update we'll try fixing the course forum privacy bug after that if you want to use this feature then you can.

I've got it all running. I'm still getting the noreply emails but I just set a filter in my mail to send them to trash. Thank you for your help.
