How to display custom profile fields

Hi, I have created a customer registration form for instructors.

I have also created 3 custom profile fields that users must complete when completing the registration form. These fields are set for everyone to see.

I want all users to see these 3 custom profile fields when they click on the Instructor. However, when I click on a Instructors profile I can only see he BASE profile information, which is their name.

How do I display the custom profile fields?

these fields are already visible. you can control the fields visibility from the  wp-admin > lms > settings > general > custom registration form.

if you want to change base text goto wp-admin > users > profile fields. edit & update.

The issue I have is only the profile fields in the BASE are visible to the public when clicking on the instructor. So Students cannot see profile fields that are in the custom groups?

i don’t know what is the issue.

You have enabled all checkbox for instructor they are visible on instructor’s registration page. Refer: http://prntscr.com/mvfhb4

You have enabled one checkbox for student that is  visible on student’s registration page. Refer: http://prntscr.com/mvficv

username, email, password is mandatory for all.

share more details about the problem if i misunderstood anything.

Ok, so i’ve found the issue.

The custom profile fields for the Instructor are showing in the PROFILE > SETTINGS > PROFILE VISIBILITY tab for the Student.

So when the Student navigates to this page, they will be confused to see profile fields they were not asked in the registeration form or available in the edit field.

Is there a way to hide these fields for the Student only?

If not, I could change the profile Group name to read “instructor only fields”

hello,

this is showing because this is by default of buddypress. either you can delete them from profile (primary) refer: http://prntscr.com/mwro42 and add them into instructors field group. or i can share custom codes for the bio and linked profile then it will not be shown for the students.
