Hello, Do you have any suggestions on how I can improve the speed of my courses? There is a couple second delay in navigating between units, submitting quizzes, switching pages, etc... it seems that each click causes a slight delay. It's the biggest complaint my customers have about my website. Some of my big quizzes (85 questions each) take 5-10 seconds to submit + a couple seconds to switch to the next section so it ends up wasting a lot of time. Do you have any suggestions on how I can improve this? Any way to structure my course that would make this quicker? Would a dedicated web host help at all? Thanks!

Hi, for site speed : Okay please make sure that envato market plugin is deactivated in your setup . if not then please deactivate it .It is having some issues with current version of wordpress. refer this tip to deactivate it : https://www.ostraining.com/blog/wordpress/disable-a-wordpress-plugin/ Second step is to install this plugin "query monitor" refer this tip to know which plugin is actually putting load on your server : https://kinsta.com/blog/query-monitor/ Using caching techniques like memcached, opcache on server side might improve some speed . Also try switching to php version 7.0 (not 7.1 ,its unstable and is not compatible with theme ) . Also follow this caching tip : https://vibethemes.com/documentation/wplms/knowledge-base/wplms-with-w3-total-cache/ Deactivate plugins that you dont feel necessary Please also try disabling touch points  if you have enabled them from wp-admin -> lms -> setitngs -> touch points .

Thank you. Does disabling touch points improve the speed? I only have a couple touch points enabled (course badge and course certificate). Would disabling this improve speed? And if I do all of this, will it improve the amount of time between submitting a quiz and seeing the quiz answer? Or will that always take a couple seconds regardless of my website efficiency? Thanks for the help!

Hi, Above mentions are the best way to speed up your website if  this delay is due to theme. If speed is not improved after that and there is a delay in loading then kindly contact you host provider. Yes, disabling touch points improves the speed.
