how to update theme files when working on custom child theme

Hello there I am working on a custom child theme that simply imports themes style file I get the updates on the plugins but never the theme updates my theme is still on version 2.0 how to fix it?

Okay please check if you have provided your themeforest username and api key in the wp-admin ->  wplms -> getting Started .

Please refer this to get the updates : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/auto-updating-wplms/

If above does not works then you can finally manually update the theme : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/manually-updating-wplms/
