Make sure you have done proper update .After update re-save permalinks and clear any kind of cache or script minifications in site (if any ) . Please check if there are any js errors in your site . refer : https://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors If there are any please share screenshot of your console screen . Try disabling the third party plugins. If issue still persists then please share site url and admin credentials to check the issue at your end .

Yes please share admin credentials and site url to check this at your end . Please also note here that most of the time this issue appears due to server's end . Page builder used to post data in html form that some server do not allow and block the access to the file which saves the data .They have some mod security enabled for this . So you need to contact your webhost to check this issue . PS : mark reply as private if you want to share credentials .

Yep i checked your site and found this to be the same issue in which webhost blocks access to the admin-ajax.php file and returns 404 error . refer : http://prntscr.com/agp96f Please contact your webhost on this .

i have asked for the support of web host and they are asking...   The issue is not with the ajax.php files, I have confirmed with our senior specialist regarding the issue. The issue is with the theme vendor who developed the theme.

Please do a simple search in the forums and you'll find a lot of users who had the same issue. All of the users who face this issue is connected with the web host. Unfortunately, the issue is because your web host is not allowing admin-ajax.php to save html content. If the issue was in the theme code then it would not work in any of the setups and it would be replicate on all setups. This issue is not related to the theme and if your web host is not cooperating we can not provide any help or support in this regards, even if we want to there is no fix which can override server side restrictions.

Hello as you had asked i have told to web host and they are replying   <br style="box-sizing: border-box; color: #272727; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px;" /><span style="color: #272727; font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 14px; line-height: 20px;">"We do not have any such restriction for specific wordpress theme. If the theme owner has more details and he can provide details that how the php page admin-ajax.php is not allowed to do its task, we can have Systems team check it further but as we are not developers we need detailed description of the issue."</span>     please reply asap !

    Please refer this topic: https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/page-builder-wp-editor-not-saving/page/3/

In this topic you can see the same issue was with another user and at last he accepted the issue was with hosting only.

So please check that topic and ask the hosting provider to resolve this. It is the same issue that the server does not allowing to post html content on ajax and is blocking the ajax call to a php file in case html content is posted .

Please note that we can only help in theme specific issues like some error in the theme code or settings . Also the page builder is working fine at all our demo and test setup. If it is theme issue then we have replicated already . But this is connected to your webhost .Please contact theme for the host related issues . I shared a link in the previous reply in which user stated : " This issue has FINALLY been fixed on my WPLMS installation by Mister Jim G, HostNine Tech Support Ninja ! 😀

He spotted several ModSecurity rules being tripped by the infos sent by the admin-ajax.php.
He whitelisted all of those rules -- after looking up and confirming my IP address -- and now all is working GREAT ! 😀

For future references, it is a host-side issue and probably with the ModSecurity rules being tripped.

Thanks for your work on this, I really appreciate ! " This is the feedback you need to tell your webhohst " He spotted several ModSecurity rules being tripped by the infos sent by the admin-ajax.php. He whitelisted all of those rules -- after looking up and confirming my IP address -- and now all is working " . Ask them to whitelist the Mod securities for the admin-ajax.php file .
