    Is there a way to make the 'book now' button automatically disable when a course starts? People can't join once the course has begun but at the moment I have to manually set the product stock levels to zero, and that still doesn't make any difference on the actual course page.

    You should set the total seats in the course, like there are 10 students enrolled in the course then set the total seats in the course to 10 seats, then the new students will not be able to enrol in the course because all the seats available in the course are full.
