July 7, 2017 at 10:01 am #119956ferrenParticipantHi, I'm really overwhelmed and have a few questions about set up a course with batches. Here's the course I'm working on: http://77.104.138.114/~realeyez/course/real-brows-microblading-hybrid-workshop/
How can you remove the number of number of students enrolled from the sidebar?
Why does the admin/instructor take up a seat in the course and batches? Our batches can only have 6 students-- do I need to add that to the number of instructors?
I'm worried the word "Batches" might be confusing for students. Is there a way to change that to "Workshops"?
I want students to be able to access the course outside and within the batch dates. Which boxes do I tick on the batch page?
Some of our courses will have multiple instructors. Is there a way to assign batches to specific instructors, so they don't get notifications for other batches?
What does the Drive tab do? I removed it, but what is it?

2) They take a seat because they are also a member of the batch/group. This is the default buddypress behaviour which cannot be changed. 3) Yes you can translate any word you want using loco translate plugin, please refer the tutorial: https://vibethemes.com/documentation/wplms/knowledge-base/translate-using-loco-translate-plugin/ 4) If you want the students to access the course at any time then do not set any batch date or time, and do not set any course date. 5) Yes, you can make those instructor as a moderator or the admin of the batch. 6) The drive tab is only for sharing files, its the buddydrive plugin, if you do not want to use it then you can simply deactivate the buddydrive plugin.July 7, 2017 at 3:09 pm #120051ferrenParticipantThis reply has been marked as private.July 8, 2017 at 7:20 am #120108H.K. LatiyanParticipant1) Try adding the bellow css:.course_header #item-header-content .students {display:none !important;}
2) Yes then simply add the start and end date of the batch but do not set any timing in it. Now the students can view the course any time within those dates . 3) The moderator/admin of the batch can check all the statistics of the batch students, but the notification is available for course instructor only. Which can be enabled from the wp-admin->lms->settings->toouch points. 4) Then you should not set the batch as public, you should set it to private. Now the students will have to purchase the course and then can enroll in any batch they want from the course page.July 10, 2017 at 11:36 am #120298ferrenParticipant1. I added the css code, but now I'm struggling to check if it worked because my main menu has disappeared. I don't think the code caused the break, and I can't think what did because it was find when I last worked on the site. 2. I think I'm explaining the date issue poorly. I want the students to have 180 days of access to the course from the time they hit "start course." The course includes two days of instructor led training, which I'm using the batches for. I want students to be able to pick the batch for their desired date and I want the batches to automatically expire when the date passes. The students need access to the online course before, during, and after the batch dates. Is it possible to do that and have them expire?July 11, 2017 at 6:11 am #120377H.K. LatiyanParticipantHi... I checked your website, your main menu is fine, refer: http://prntscr.com/fu6gpp I am not sure what's the issue in the main menu. ------------- But I can see that the slider is not there, you can import the slider by running the setup wizard again from appearance->setup wizard, and skip all the steps and import only the slider. OR You can simply go to wplms->demo switcher, select your demo i.e. demo 5 and import the homepage from there. ------------ Ok, you can simply set the course duration to 180 days and do not set any batch duration.July 11, 2017 at 7:27 am #120408ferrenParticipantYes the menu's back because I deleted the theme and reinstalled to start over. Thanks for your help!July 11, 2017 at 8:35 am #120438H.K. LatiyanParticipantThanks for the update. -
