I'm having a problem with the Login page on Demo5. When a user clicks on the "Login" link in the top menu item, it pops up a username and password window. The user puts their username and password in clicks the login button.
But it does not log the user in. It takes the user to a new login page (/wp-login.php) and the user has to again enter their username and password. Only after re-entering the user credentials does it log the user into their account.
Let me know if you'd like to see screenshots of the 2 different login pages. Please let me know what I can do to fix this.
Thanks!
Try enabling ajax login and registration from wp-admin -> wplms -> buddypress .
I tried this, but I'm still having a problem.
I enabled the ajax login and reg in the WPLMS>buddypress area. Now when I try to login, it takes me to this page /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php and in the top left corner is just "0".
If I navigate back to the homepage by typing in the homepage domain, it takes me to the homepage but it has me logged in.
So the login is working, but upon logging in, it is not directing users to a page. Can I director instructors to page X and students to page Y?
Thanks!
Please goto wp-admin -> settings -> general .
check your wordpress and site url settings there .
Make sure that you put https there also .
If above does not helps then Please share your site url and admin credentials to check this issue at your end .

Thanks for your help. I figured it out. The problem was in the LMS settings. It had the login redirect (for student and instructors) set to "disabled". Once I set that login redirect to an actual page / location, it is now working properly.
Thanks!
