The above article will change the icons, yes that is true
But you can set only "Buddypress Member" Menus in Profile and Logged In menu
So here, Profile, Gifts(if you have wplms gift course v4 plugin), Orders(Instead of this add Shop Menu)
Will show icons automatically without adding any code
So, add these menu items carefully
Hi @Diana I have carefully followed your instructions but still there is no icon beside Profile and Message on the dropdown menu. Additionally, we would like to change the default icon used for profile, gifts, order, and forum but still no luck.

So please try disabling third party plugins on your site and check or allow me to do so to check what is causing the icons to be different on your site.

You may proceed to do the plugin conflict test. We have multiple backups on hand so feel free to do all that is needed to find/solve the issue. Our team has tried.

In your subsite I could not find any such plugin that can cause these icon change it must be coming from min site.

1. That is interesting, we have been searching for weeks and cannot find the issue either.
2. We use the chrome extension: Emoji keyboard - Emojis for Chrome to copy and paste those emojis and icons. We've also removed those and retry they don't seem to have any impact on issue #1.
