You just needed to enable the groups component in wp-admin -> settings > buddypress -> componenets .1 year, 7 months ago UsapukaSpectator
Thanks Alex, indeed with the groups component enabled I can create new site, fine!
Although I had the same problem I had on localhost, I had to desabled wplms-customizer via ftp, to be able to log in (https://wplms.io/support/forums/topic/login-problems-ina-multisite-installation-in-the-localhost/).
The script is not working on live site.
Please, can you take a look?
Thank you, regards,
Well on localhost there could be any of the checks :
1 . check if network settings you allowed to create sites and user both .
2 . check indexblank.php file fix .
3 . groups component enabled in it .
4 . buddypress , vibebp and wplms plugins are not network activated .
I have checked the configuration on the localhost and the live site and both are as stated, however when I enable the wplms-customizer I cannot log in on either the localsite or the live site: https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/creeDxWsQq.
When I want to access any of the tabs from the site editing page, it tells me that the site does not exist: is this correct? https://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/creeDBWsXL.
Well the site does not exists this must be something from the wordpress itself , theme and plugin do not overwrite this .
Secondly I would recommend you to create another multisite from scratch , it seems many things on the localhost is not working .
Also note that on localhost the subdomain multisites does not works only directory multisites work.
Im sorry the site loaded fine to me , can you please share exactly what error you are getting
You are right the site loads fine, the problem is that I can’t activate WPLMS Customizer Plugin.
If I activate the WPLMS Customizer Plugin, the login to the site is blocked.
Well we have provided a code to restrict logins from various subsites . You can find a plugin which can do this thing for you .
I still don’t understand why the script you sent me, which I assume works fine on other sites, prevents login on mine.
The only reason could be the network settings on localhost .There are other user settings regarding networks in wordpress which might conflicting with the code here .
