April 12, 2019 at 9:02 pm #204382bdelauneyParticipantWhen using Gtmetrix action=wplms_get_signon_security is causing admin-ajax.php to take 1.79 seconds to load. Is there a way to reduce this?April 13, 2019 at 6:53 am #204418Anshuman SahuKeymasterThe only way to fix it is by disabling the "ajax login and registration" from wp-admin -> WPLMS -> buddypress .April 19, 2019 at 3:11 pm #205399bdelauneyParticipantI've tried to install Heartbeat Control and reduce the call times. I'm having an issue with the plugin not enabling. I don't want it gone, but maybe not calling out every 5 to 15 seconds would reduce the load issues.April 20, 2019 at 11:39 am #205506AvaMemberHi Please go through the link below: https://medium.com/visualmodo/how-to-reduce-admin-ajax-server-load-in-wordpress-5ba49a5a3185 If still, you have any issue further, please let us know.April 22, 2019 at 3:02 pm #205736bdelauneyParticipantThe Heartbeat Control plugin isn't working. I don't know if it's a theme or plugin issue. I've reached out to the plugin creators, but haven't heard anything back. It doesn't save any of the rules. You set the rule up and click save and the rules disappear.April 23, 2019 at 1:15 pm #205877loganMemberHello, i understand, if it is taking approx 2 seconds to load. then we have the only option to fix this by disabling the "ajax login and registration" from wp-admin >> WPLMS >> buddypress.
My advice would be to change the DNS server, probably try cloudflare, also check your server's nginx configuration. No amount of caching can fix the DNS issue.
We're using WP Rocket on our site and it works fine : https://gtmetrix.com/reports/wplms.io/mJkYwnTC
If your files are minified and still loading very slow then it is best to use a CDN server to speed up the loading process.
April 23, 2019 at 1:29 pm #205883AvaMemberOkay, please send the link of that plugin, only if that plugin is free, we need to set up the plugin in our localhost and will try to replicate your issue and see what we can help you with.April 24, 2019 at 7:24 pm #206122bdelauneyParticipanthttps://wordpress.org/plugins/heartbeat-control/ I'm using SiteGround as my DNS server. I also have cloudflare with railgun, Brotli, and Rocket Loader active as well as SG Optimize, and PageSpeed Ninja. But the admin-ajax.php issue is quite common see https://kinsta.com/blog/admin-ajax/ https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/985-how-to-find-which-plugin-calls-admin-ajax-php and so on. The heartbeat control plugin is the only answer that you see besides turning the heartbeat off.April 24, 2019 at 8:13 pm #206126bdelauneyParticipantThe plugin is the Heartbeat Control Plugin referenced in the above link at https://wordpress.org/plugins/heartbeat-control/April 25, 2019 at 2:27 pm #206276Anshuman SahuKeymasterthanks for sharing that but this is not related to this . this ajax call is send by wplms .April 25, 2019 at 4:06 pm #206286bdelauneyParticipantI'm getting confused on who is talking to who. I said the ajax calls are causing longer load times. I was told to disable it. I said that I don't want to disable it, I just don't want it calling out so much. I was sent a link on how to fix it. I said the plugin isn't working. I was asked for the plugin site. I posted it. Now there's a message that it's not related to this (whatever that means). I know the ajax call is sent from WPLMS. I want to be able set a longer time for it to make calls. Heartbeat Control plugin allows that to happen, but the plugin won't work. I don't know if that's a theme conflict or a plugin issue. I've reached out to the plugin creator and I'm reaching out to you guys.April 26, 2019 at 1:01 pm #206424maximusMemberWell slow ajax calls means that server is returning response slow . Do you have ajax login/register enabled or not ? In ajax login/register we make an ajax call to fetch the security parameter for login . If enabled then please disable it.April 29, 2019 at 11:29 am #206682bdelauneyParticipantI disabled it a day ago and action=wplms_get_signon_security is still showing up, taking 1.2 to 3 seconds to load in GTmetrix. I cleared my site cache when I disabled it.April 29, 2019 at 2:53 pm #206759Anshuman SahuKeymasterHi please check now , I have changed the login style from wp-admin -> appearance -> customize -> header to fix this up .April 30, 2019 at 2:48 pm #206975bdelauneyParticipantCan you reverse the changes that you made, because they altered some of the way the site is now laid out and I'd rather have a delay than try to fix everything else. Thanks. -
