Add Wildcard to search in course admin

We're adding something better. A select dropdown with search, the results will show user pic with name. I'll share a screenshot of this soon.

Excellent idea. Need to search on surname i.e. last name. How about an option to show first name and last name in listing instead of username? Also sorting alphabetically please - even if its only on username! Please advise when available. Thanks
