With assigment you can allow user to upload some files with upload type assigmment .
and assignment are not auto evaluated , they have to be evaluated by instructor : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gIxv_-15ro8
Im sorry in unit its just for prractice there is no provision available to check the answer of student in units , its only available in quizzes.
