badgeOS – based on steps, if I allow "3" times does it affect the points

Hi there, within badgeOS, on a specific badge I have made it where they get the badge/point by submitting the assignment. So, within the "step" where it asks "times"- if I select more than once, does that simply mean they can resubmit - or will they be awarded points for the second/third submission? I only want a student to get the points once, but possibly be able to submit their answer a couple of more times if they want to change it.

yes that means that user need to complete that task 3 times in order to get the badge  .
