Batch duration for subscription

I am using two different kinds of batches in one course. One type limits the student within a date range - a year in length with specific start and end dates. The other type has a limited batch duration. I am using the batch duration for a subscription. What should I do when the subscription renews and I need to extend the student for another month in the batch duration group.?

One more thing - which takes precedence as far as cut off date - Subscription or batch?

The batch overrides the course settings. Therefore the student will be able to access the course only in the batch duration and timings. You can extend the batch duration so that the student can access the course within these duration and remove the students from the batch whose subscription has expired.
