Blog sidebar in regular default theme

Hi, no sidebar appears when I set one for the posts page, though it is clearly set up for one as it is not full screen. Also, the page title still shows the site title even though I have "show page title" selected.

Please make sure that you have added the widgets in the sidebar that you have selected in the page settings from appearance -> widgets . refer : http://prntscr.com/9inxqy http://prntscr.com/9inxsp
