November 5, 2015 at 3:41 pm #7224KupkaSpectatorHi all, I just saw the course curriculum on the modern themes course page. As I have built a separate sales page for my course with Visual composer (see here http://742.222.myftpupload.com/master-degree-guide/) (using default theme), I would like to integrate the course curriculum from the modern theme into my sales page (http://tinyurl.com/nzhtu9r). This is crucial as I would like show the first units for free on the sales page before they purchase the course. I would appreciate any directions on how I could do it. Many thanks in advance for your help.November 6, 2015 at 2:39 pm #7414Anshuman SahuKeymasterYou can have that page in the modern theme as well when you install and activate it . To modify the curriculum page you have to modify the curriculum.php file in the wp-content/themes/wplms_modern/course/single/ folder .November 13, 2015 at 9:27 am #8391KupkaSpectatorHi, I am using the child one theme now. I use visual composer on a SEPARATE sales page and intend to include the "preview curriculum" you offer on the modern theme on that separate sales page. Neither on the "curriculum page" or "course page" of WPLMS. I want to skip that. Please advise. http://742.222.myftpupload.com/master-degree-guide/ On another note: On the same sales page I have three pricing models but just want for two to access the course (the one for $59 and for $139). http://tinyurl.com/pfcjpbe So when you click on the buy button it directs you to the chart. Please advise. Thanks youNovember 14, 2015 at 11:09 am #8622Anshuman SahuKeymasterYou can enable the show curriculum under course description option from LMs -> settings . For connecting the take this course button to external page Please refer : https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/connect-take-this-course-button-to-external-page/November 17, 2015 at 11:52 am #9097KupkaSpectatorHi, i did enable it and it shows now. What steps do I need to take to copy it to visual composer on a separate page of my website? thanks (again, see my page) 2. not intended to "take this course" button to external page but rather to course cart. So when you click on the buy button on my sales page (see link above) it directs you directly to the chart.thanks againNovember 18, 2015 at 11:37 am #9335Anshuman SahuKeymaster1. YOu can copy the content from the edit page in the backend and seletc the classic mode ad then in wp-editor select the text mode and copy the content by selecting all now goto the edit page to where you want to paste the code . now again in wp-editor select the text mode and paste the content. 2. Correct me if i am wrong :D . For that you could have simply gave the url of the chart page .November 18, 2015 at 12:48 pm #9350KupkaSpectatorHi for your answer 1. There is no such shortcode like [here curriculum] in wplms . If you want to show a curriculum of the course on another page then you just have to manually write the curriculum . Please explain the issue in detail with some screenshots .November 20, 2015 at 9:46 am #9723KupkaSpectatorNovember 20, 2015 at 7:36 pm #9854KupkaSpectatorHi Alex, no worries. I replicated the course curriculum. Guess looks better now. one more question if you allow: http://v2.screencast-o-matic.com/watch/coXYq4hqJK Thanks a lot for your help :)November 21, 2015 at 1:48 pm #9967MrVibeKeymasterThanks for the video, it really helps a lot in understanding the issue. Currently there is no shortcode which would allow what you're trying to achieve, so you'll need to achieve this manually. However, for content locking "Asking for email to show the unit content", you can use third party plugins like : http://codecanyon.net/item/subscriber-content-lock-for-wordpress/3654863 or https://thrivethemes.com/leads/v2/?utm_expid=73135304-8.mzR-yWZYQ9-SI-DCMsRNiA.1&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fthrivethemes.com%2Fthrive-leads-content-lock%2FNovember 21, 2015 at 1:53 pm #9968MrVibeKeymasterOk to open the Unit content in a popup, simply add a link like : <a href="http://link to my unit.com/unit/xyz" class="ajax_unit">Open unit int popup</a> Also check this tutorial Let me know if this helps.November 27, 2015 at 3:38 pm #11024KupkaSpectatorHi, my developer tweaked two hours on the issue - no result.
