Course groups

Hello, We need to create groups of the course starting in different dates. For example, group 1 starts at 3rd of April, group 2 starts at 15 of April and group 3 resumes at 27 of April. When students register for course they are either enrolled to a next opening group or select the date when they'd like to start. Is there a feature to enable that? we've found a paid plugin WPLMS batches - is that the one that can provide us with the solution? Thanks in advance for your help,
