Course retakes

I just want to know how really it works. Now all my courses are avaible for membership (PMPRO) users. You need to be member one of the membership plan to have access to it. And how really works retakes option. Users can retake course which they start as long as they have active one of the plan (PMPRO). Or users are able to retake course which they start no matter they have active plan or not? If I switch off retake option, they can't access to course which they finished even that they have active plan.

Well memberhsip provided how much time user will get access to that course . While the retakes comes in picture when user finished the course . In wplms when user finish course marks are given to him and certificate awarded and course is locked with "Finished course" at the course button . Retakes comes in picture in case user want to retake the course and start it all over again .
