Create a course button in student dashboard

I have this issue: When logging in as student and then go to dashboard you will see a "create a course" button which does not belong there because students can not create a course. How to fix this?see screenshot image   Also when creating a course you will see a button where instructors can create categories from a dropdown menu. How can i hide or remove this completely?

1) Your screenshot is not visible to me, but on my test site there is no create course option in student's dashboard, refer: http://prntscr.com/9oog9h. 1. Ok here is another screenshot . I added this button by adding some code which i found from your vibe support site. That's why its not on your test site. How to disable this or hide this for students?I added this for the instructors to get more ways to create a course. All my plugins are up to date. Also why do you have colorfull square buttons in your screenshot and i have something different?See same screenshot above. 2. This worked out  FINE..thank you

Sorry that code in the tip had a bug, but now I have updated the code. You can use that new code, it works fine now. Just replace the previous code with this new one. Yes I have colorfull square buttons, and you can also have that. Just refer this screenshot: http://prntscr.com/9lvgqo

Yes this is working fine now. It got the create a course link removed/hidden when logging in as a student. thank you
