Custom Course Sections in Menu for v3+

Came across this article but it no longer works https://vibethemes.com/documentation/wplms/knowledge-base/adding-custom-section-in-course-menu/ Is there a way to do this in version 3 and up? We are using https://vibethemes.com/documentation/wplms/knowledge-base/wplms-course-custom-nav-plugin/ and it works but it's not in the menu. Thanks! Lawrence

Hi, 1) Yes this code won't work now because we have added the course settings in the wp-admin->lms->settings->course settings, refer: http://prntscr.com/gadh3g So you either use this setting to show the data in the course details section or if you want to use the code in that tip then you'll have to remove all the settings present there and save the blank value. Now since the blank value is saved in the course settings so now it will default to previous default setting and the code will work fine. Therefore you can only use one of these. 2) This works fine, after adding the custom section  you'll have to go to lms->settings->course menu, and then reset the settings, now the custom section will appear there and then you need to save it from there. Then only it will be visible in the course menu. Let me know if you face any issues with this.
