custom fields in course and filter

Hi, We want to create 3 customs fields in course setting , 2 of them will be text type and 1 numeric types. We also  want these fields should be edit from front end and displayed in Buddypress Course filter like:- location and Level. We tried this code but these field can't be edit and filter on front end https://wplms.io/support/knowledge-base/adding-custom-field-in-course-setting/ We also also tried course custom navigation plugin but it creates only text editor and they also can't be filtered Please help, how can we do it. Thank you
