Hi, I setup and imported the Mooc demo, but the left vertical menu not like that in the demo with icons, how can I add icon before menu item? And I found that some changes in the wordpress customizer don't work, such as changing logo size, logo top, logo bottom, etc., there will be no change in preview or in the site after save. Also, can I add a logo and text or even social buttons above the vertical menu (i.e. the space between hamburger button and the menu) ? Thanks | Site Link : https://ima.org.hk/new/

Adding logo/text/social buttons above the vertical menu is just like that in this websit : https://www2.hkma.org.hk/

The icons can be added like in the below video. Although the video is for app icons this works same for the MOOC demo.

No you will need to customize the header.php template in the mooc child theme to achieve this, although easy but requires WP knowledge.

If you want we can share some code to achieve this.

Well that is not possible with the new app child theme for that you have to modify the header.php of app child theme .
